Agricultural crop protection from insects is of critical importance for increasing food security and crop productivity. Allowing insect pests to spread onto crops may cause heavy crop damage with concomitant losses due to depressed productivity and revenue. Traditional pest management techniques, such as hand-picking and cultural practices, are practically abandoned because they hardly provide any solution against large-scale infestations. A better chemical treatment approach requires immediate implementation to address current challenges. As a leading insecticide exporter in India, Koshambh is perfectly positioned to provide premium insecticidal solutions tailored to suit diverse agricultural requirements across the globe.
Agricultural insect control utilizes chemicals as specific active agents that stop pests during all stages, including prevention and eradication from causing damage to crops. Insects experience biological system impairments from these chemicals that either paralyze them or result in their death. A pesticide functions as part of integrated pest control systems to accomplish pest population control and accelerate healthy crop development.
India’s role in the global agrochemical market receives a formidable boost from its vibrant insecticide export industry. The future of insecticide exports from India depends on progressive steps towards making products more efficient, sustainable, and/or targeted. A greater emphasis on biopesticides is a global trend toward greener farming practices. Integrated pest management and precision agriculture technologies continue to shape the market and demand innovative formulations and modes of delivery for insecticides. To keep and enhance its competitive edge, India must give the right thought to research and product development that focuses on effective pest control against future customer concerns stemming from increasing global quality standards.
Koshambh believes that innovation serves as a necessary condition to succeed as an insecticide exporter from India. We operate as the leading insecticide exporter in India by delivering high-quality solutions to customers.
Koshambh offers multiple pest control insecticides that solve various pest management needs:
Lambda Cyhalothrin, 2.5% EC
This concentration shows effectiveness in eradicating aphids together with beetle caterpillars and several other pests. The insecticide works by affecting the nervous system functions of insects, which leads to paralysis followed by death.
Formulation
TOPLAMBDA SUPER 50 EC has a concentration of 50 g/L of Lambda-Cyhalothrin in the form of Emulsifiable Concentrate (EC), as a broad-spectrum insecticide to control multiple insect pests on market gardening and fruit crops. It is effective through contact and oral ingestion with fast knockdown and long residual duration, resulting in effective control of pests up to 3 to 4 weeks.
Targeted Crops and Concentration–
Market Garden Crops/Vegetables: Use 0.3 litres/hectare by mixing 10 ml of TOPLAMBDA SUPER 50 EC with 10 litres of water and giving a total volume of spray at 300 litres/hectare. Use at the first sight of insect damage or as a preventive treatment at two-week intervals.
Fruit Crops: Use 0.3 litres per hectare, the same dilution of 10 ml in 10 litres of water. Give good coverage during application. Use preventively at two-week intervals or after observing pest attacks.
Pre-Harvest Interval: Have a 14-day waiting time following the last application before harvest for residue dissipation and crop protection. make it crisp
Deltamethrin, 1.25% EC, 2.5% EC <h3>
This broad-spectrum pesticide works by disrupting the normal nervous system functions of leafhoppers, borer pests, and weevils.
Formulation
NANKOFLA SUPER 25 EC is a concentrate of 25 g/L of Deltamethrin, in Emulsifiable Concentrate (EC) formulation, made as a multi-spectrum insecticide for good pest control on banana, garden produce, and stored commodities. It is by contact and ingestion, causing paralysis and swift knockdown in pests while the human toxicity remains low.
Targeted Crops and Concentration-
It serves as an organophosphate compound to manage underground as well as surface pests like termites, beetles, and cutworms.
Formulation: TRICEL 480 EC contains 480 g/L of Chlorpyrifos-ethyl in Emulsifiable Concentrate (EC) form, offering rapid pest control through contact, ingestion, and inhalation.
Targeted Crops: Market gardening crops (vegetables).
Concentration: Mix 50 to 100 ml in 15 litres of water. Apply 1 to 2 litres per hectare or 50 ml per 500 m².
The combined formula Acetamiprid + Lambda Cyhalothrin can protect crops through its systemic mode of action alongside its direct contact effect towards multiple sucking and chewing pests. Acetamiprid interacts with nicotinic acetylcholine receptors while Lambda Cyhalothrin influences sodium channels in nerve cells.
Formulation: 15 g/L Lambda-cyhalothrin + 30 g/L Acetamiprid
Targeted Crops: Cashew
Concentration: 0.5 L/ha or 125 ml in 12 L of water per hectare, applied twice yearly (May-July & September-November) with a 21-day pre-harvest interval.
The combination of Acetamiprid + Cypermethrin 40 EC delivers systemic action from Acetamiprid with direct pest-killing properties of Cypermethrin to inhibit various insect species.
Formulation: 20 g/L Acetamiprid + 20 g/L Cypermethrin (40 EC)
Targeted Crops: Cashew
Concentration Point: 0.5 L/ha or 125 ml in 12 L of water per 1/4 hectare, with two applications per year (May-July after harvest and September-November at the beginning of flowering) and a 21-day pre-harvest interval.
The combination of Imidacloprid with Bifenthrin exists as 25 EC and 50 EC concentrations that work to control surface pests and soil dwellers. Imidacloprid enables systematic pest control, but Bifenthrin works through surface contact and maintains extended protecting abilities.
Formulation: 15 g/L Imidacloprid + 10 g/L Bifenthrin
Targeted Crops: Cocoa
Concentration: 1 L/ha or 250 ml in an atomizer to treat 1/4 hectare, with a pre-harvest interval of 21 days.
Zinc Phosphide at 80% functions as a rodenticide used for managing field rodents. Consumption by animals triggers stomach acid reactions with the compound that creates harmful phosphine gas that leads to animal toxicity.
