B.E / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering related field or equivalent work experience required

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Should have hands-on experience with machines used in a highly automated biscuit manufacturing company
• Should be able to identify errors and provide timely troubleshooting for the machines to save production time
• Should have experience in troubleshooting Mechanical Gearboxes, Conveyor belts, Bearings and Rotary parts, online packing machines, hydraulic systems
• Should have experience in production planning and inventory control.
• Should have experience in scheduling tasks of preventive maintenance and their implementation
• Should be able to prepare and maintain technical reports of breakdowns and preventive maintenance services
• Should be able to develop SOPs, Manuals and Work Instructions for production operations
• Should be able to use basic mechanical test equipment, suggest better machinery for process improvement and recommend tools and instruments for safety
• Should have a good understanding and experience in vendor management and logistics coordination for smooth procurement and other services

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Good command of English and strong communication skills
• Good knowledge of computer applications including MS Office, especially Excel formulas, data analysis, Outlook and document management
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Ability to multitask effectively
